The Hogmanay Staff are responsible for helping the public navigate the event, and as such must be friendly to all members of the public and be a strong communicator. You should be friendly, confident, good with people and able to organise large numbers of people. Staff are the eyes and ears of the event. They patrol their area to make sure it's safe and tidy and that the public are getting to where they're going on time. There’s no sitting at desks involved in the job so you should be good on your feet, have a confident manner and big voice, and be willing to scramble to action at a moments’ notice. You could be positioned at any of the Hogmanay events so it's a great way to experience the evening.
Dates of work: 31st December
You will need to be over 18 and find your own accommodation within Edinburgh as we do not provide any staff accommodation.
Interviews will be held in Edinburgh, and will be ongoing from November into December.
Please note that due to the large number of applicants, we will only be able to contact those selected for interview.
