Underbelly Boulevard Soho is our first permanent venue consisting of a boutique 200 seat auditorium, a fully-fledged cocktail bar, a new restaurant Artusi, which just arrived in November 2024, and a couple of event spaces including a small stalls bar, to add to it all!
We are looking for a Floor Supervisor to help support our awesome bar & floor team at Underbelly Boulevard Soho and the new partnership with Artusi.

After the success of their two other locations, Peckham and Deptford, Artusi are bringing their Italian-inspired neighbourhood cooking to Underbelly Boulevard Soho.
The simple menu, which sees changes throughout the week, reflects the best possible seasonal produce and always features pasta made that day.
Role Description:
Underbelly Boulevard Soho is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and experienced Floor Supervisor to join our dynamic team! It’s a vibrant environment where no two days are the same, and we want someone who thrives in a bustling atmosphere. (We value creativity - and all the quirks that come with it)! This is a part-time, casual position.
As a Restaurant Floor Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in leading the Restaurant Floor team on shift, ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional experience while upholding our high standards of service.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Bar & Restaurant Manager and Bar Duty Managers to create a seamless guest experience.
- Oversee daily operations on the floor, supervising and supporting restaurant floor staff, ensuring the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain excellent interpersonal relationships with guests, creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere.
- Provide hands-on training and guidance to team members on food, wine and spirits knowledge, and customer service techniques. Help foster a positive and productive team environment.
- Welcome customers as they arrive, manage reservations and efficiently seat guests while ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and floor areas.
- Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with H&S/HACCP practices.
- Deliver outstanding table service and assist with any guest inquiries or special requests.
- Support the management team in maintaining inventory and ordering supplies.
Person Specification:
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a hospitality/restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer and spirits.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest experience and service excellence.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively and maintaining attention to detail.
- Committed to maintaining health and safety practices, including food handling and licensing regulations.
- A passion for creativity and a fun, bubbly personality that enhances the guest experience.
- Flexibility to work daytimes, evenings & weekends as required.
